I have been back on Atkins for about three weeks now. The changes I’ve seen have been minor shifts, really, nothing dramatic. This is definitely not like the last time. I haven’t dropped 20 pounds, nor have I suddenly become a happy-go-lucky person without a care in the world. But it’s true, it does work. While I don’t know exactly how much weight I’ve lost, I know I’ve lost a little something because my clothes fit a bit better. I’m not hungry all the time. My skin has cleared up and looks great. I feel more focused. I feel more apt to take care of my personal appearance. My persistent heartburn is virtually nonexistent. And, my left leg isn’t mysteriously swollen anymore. I have not cheated on the diet beyond enjoying some of the fresh fruits of the season—hey, I can’t give up everything. But I’ve been loyal to my no pasta, no bread, no sugar rules. Not perfect, but not bad. I’ll take it.

- Finally saw Paranormal Activity this PM. Good story, editing, nicely acted (leads), and scary. Like performance piece. See with an audience! 2 days ago

Atkins is the best. I am glad you’re doing so well with it, on your terms.
